EXPLORE INTERN WITH #ICANHELP

InTERN With #ICaNHELP

As a seasonal intern at #ICANHELP, I was paired with a small group of teammates and mentors who have supported me throughout our one-on-one conversations and weekly meetings by giving me apparent advice and transparent feedback.

In addition to working on projects that were impactful and meaningful. I was able to create and design digital social media content that provided students and teens with the knowledge and skills that are necessary to create awareness of mental health and protect themselves and others from cyberbullying and other types of abuse.

EXPLORE DIGITAL WELLNESS & THE FUTURE AND THE NOW

DIGITAL WELLNESS

Here’s a selection of social media posts that shows how we tend to promote good use of technology, make a positive impact, bring awareness to mental health, and empower students by speaking up and speaking out against cyberbullying

THE FUTURE and the now

I was selected to create and design a t-shirt for the Digital4Good summit and it turned out to be impressive and awe-inspiring. The symbolism of the design encourages students to break barriers, embrace empowerment, and advocate for positive change in today’s society by recognizing themselves as both the “future and the right now.”

Here’s a selection of school projects that ranges from posters to packaging design

in BLOOm

As part of my 30-day project, I wanted to showcase this brand by using different elements. One of them is the color palette, which depicts the simplicity, whimsicalness, and elegance of its inner beauty similar to vintage and minimalism art pieces.

kuno

The inspiration behind the brand was incorporating African roots to create a visual for the wine labels. The color palette are warm and earthy tones.

BTS

Inspired by Peter Saville, a British graphic designer who has designed several record sleeves, covers, and packages. Based on his edgy design of work, I have created a minimalistic and simple album series based on typography and floral. As a group, BTS continues to signify the desire to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim to be individuals and free to express themselves.

NATIONALflowers

Inspired by places that I would like to visit while learning about their history and culture. I created a postcard series based on typography. The technique creates a bold, dynamic, and flourishing design. The colors are based on the “national flowers” that I used to convey their national flag, while some are based on poster ideas which are red, yellow, white, and blue.
